‘Hidden story’ in this history month….

The Edam Museum collection holds a remarkable booklet with three recesses containing a hidden flute! The inside features a mysterious print from circa 1784-1786: a militiaman crushing Violence. What does this vignette mean? Who donated the book, and why did the flute have to remain hidden? Truly, a hidden story.
Come see it for yourself at the Edam Museum’s City Hall location, open throughout ‘historymonth  October’.

Open: Tuesday through Sunday, 10:00 AM – 4:30 PM
